SWORN TRANSLATIONS
SWORN TRANSLATIONS
What is a sworn translation, and what do sworn translators do?
Official bodies and institutions often require official or “sworn” translations of documents (such as courts, consulates, universities, and so on).
Sworn translators are officially authorised to translate these types of documents because they hold a qualification issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For example, suppose you have to submit a diploma to a company or a criminal record certificate. In that case, this work will have to be carried out by a sworn translator.
If a simple translation is not enough, a sworn translator is needed to sign and stamp the document.
